The celebration was held at Udhayam Hall, Ashok Nagar, Chennai on the 24th Dec 2007. Sannath started off with his Electronic Percussion Pad to play a combination of Latin, Rock beats and then moving on to blast his Acoustic Drums keeping the 100 odd audience mesmerized and glued to their seats. Since then, he has been giving regular solo performances in Drums and Mridangam for many cultural events. Sannath has completed the 2nd Grade Drumkit and 1st Grade Piano exams from Trinity College of Music, London. Sannath’s inclination towards music was first noticed when he, as a 10 month old kid was attracted towards the Thavil beats during a marriage function. He quickly crawled towards the Thavil, grabbed the sticks and started playing a Rhythm. Amazed by his interest, his father gifted him a Drums set for his first birthday. His birthday gift turned out to be a real passion, and he has been addicted to the drums ever since, trying out various Rhythms throughout the day. Sannath has always been amidst music in a family of musicians. His father Parameswaran is a percussionist, trained in Mridangam under the Tutelage of Guru Sri. Karaikudi Mani Iyer. His Aunt, Jayalakshmi is a professional playback singer, singing for popular music directors like Thenisai Tenral Deva, Bharadwaj, Adityan to name a few. His cousin brothers, Mumbai Brothers are performing Carnatic Vocalists. His younger cousin Sharath Rajagopalan, Vijay TV/Airtel Super Singer Junior Fame is a very popular light music singer and performer. </div> <div align="justify"><strong><span style="color:#663300;">INITIATION AND TRAINING </span></strong>Sannath is presently studying in 4th Standard in Padma Seshadri School (K.K.Nagar). Sannath started getting his formal learning at the age of four from Mr.Muralikrishna, a very popular drummer and percussionist in South India. Sannath also receives training for his shows from his father. He is learning Mridangam under the tutelage of Sri. S. Seshadri (S/o, Layachudaroli Madurai. T. Sannath is receiving his training in Piano from Mr. J.S.Joshua. Sannath’s next passion is Martial Arts. He is a Black belt 1st Dan in Isshinryu Karate and gets his training from Renshi Bala. Sannath is also learning the Indian Martial Art, Silambam from Master Gouri Shankar. Sannath loves watching Television Channels like Chutti TV, Disney XD and Cartoon Network with his little brother Samarth. Samarth also joins his brother for the shows and performs with him.
